Anna, Rankweil

Upon the renovation of the venerable 'Schwarzer Adler' inn, the new brewpub 'Anna', operated by Mohrenbrauerei, was established in the heart of Rankweil. This project seamlessly merges historical architectural integrity with contemporary culinary concepts, thereby substantially contributing to the revitalization of the town center.

Our firm was responsible for the structural engineering aspects of the concrete construction, particularly concerning structurally critical interventions within the existing edifice and its expansion. Furthermore, we assumed project control responsibilities as part of the overall construction management, thereby coordinating the entire planning and construction process and making a significant contribution to ensuring both schedule adherence and cost predictability.

Beyond the modernization of the existing structure, a capacious outdoor area accommodating approximately 140 patrons was developed, further enhanced by the integration of a new service station. The refurbishment necessitated a high degree of coordination to reconcile the demands of historical preservation with contemporary operational requirements.

The 'Anna' brewpub now exemplifies a successful synthesis of tradition, architectural excellence, and an exceptional hospitality experience.
