As part of the project, a new, multifunctional building—including a kindergarten—was constructed as an extension, andthe adjacent, historically protected existing building was extensively renovated and structurally reinforced.

Our firm was responsible for the structural engineering design for all new construction and renovation projects. This included a detailed analysis of the existing structure, the development of appropriate reinforcement concepts for the historic building fabric, and the designof a cost-effective and robust structural system for the new building.

Taking into account the requirements of historic preservation andthrough close coordination among all parties involved in the planning process , we were able to implement design solutions that not only meet functional requirements but also bring the historic building up to modern standards.
