Mohren-Areal 2030

The subject of the invited single-stage design competition was the development of a comprehensive urban planning and design concept for the transformation of the Mohren Brewery in Dornbirn—the Mohren Site 2030.

gbd was commissioned to conduct the preliminary financial review for this project. Eight competition entries were submitted and evaluated, and the architectural firm Baumschlager Hutter ZT GmbH emerged as the winner. The expansion plans, including warehousing and logistics, production, a beer experience center, and administrative facilities, are scheduled to be implemented in phases.
