School Campus - Hörbranz

The expansion of the historic elementary school and the renovation of the double gymnasium are creating a modern educational campus in the center of Hörbranz, featuring an elementary school, a middle school, gyms, a library, and club facilities.

The freestanding extension to the elementary school will be constructed from ground level up using timber construction with composite wood floors. Horizontal bracing will be provided by solid stairwells. The double gymnasium, which adjoins the existing middle school and features spans of up to 30 meters, will also be built using timber construction and will be partially underground, incorporating recycled concrete.

Once the new buildings are occupied, the historic elementary school will be renovated and adapted to meet the needs of modern education.
